Icelandic films at festivals 2021


In 2021 a total of 46 Icelandic films were selected for 148 international film festivals and 2 Icelandic film focuses. They won a total of 29 international awards.

It should be noted that due to the Covid-19 pandemic many film festivals and film premiers had to be cancelled, delayed or be moved to a digital format.
